I have a real hatred for vermin....they are icky and I don't want to see them. I hope they feel the same way about me, so we don't cross paths. :-)
Going to last evening, I picked up Steph to go to dinner and a movie for a girls' night out. We first tried to go to MacBehr's for dinner and there was one waitress and lots of diners plus a large dinner party. So, we high tailed it out of there since we did not get menus for almost 10 minutes. We ventured down the street to the 4th Street Bar and Grill and chose a table. As we were sitting a man started walking towards us, so I assumed he worked at the bar and was coming to take our drink order. I said a jolly "Hi!" and he paused a bit, said hi and proceeded to keep walking....to the bathroom. Turns out he did not work there and kept staring at our table. I bet he thought I was trying to pick him up. :-)
We scarfed down our dinner and drove quickly to the other end of 4th Street (it was too cold to walk....24 degrees and dropping....brrr!). We got our tickets, pop, popcorn and m&m's and went into the already started movie. As soon as we sat down I noticed something moving about in my peripheral vision.
O.M.G.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A mouse was running up and down the aisle next to my chair. Vermin! Icky! I immediately grabbed Steph's arm and told her to put her feet up. A mouse was in the house! We both sat with our feet up for most of the movie. I guess that's what I get for a $3 movie. I've seen mice in the local grocery stores....but that's a bit expected since it's full of food. Movie theatres, not so much.
