Happy Easter! This year Matthew had to work, so the boys and I celebrated with both sides of the family. Graham and I attended an Easter egg hunt hosted by another MOPS mom on Friday. It was a bit chilly, but Graham got lots of neat candy and toys and saw the Easter bunny! His buddies Jagger and Memphis came, too!
Then on Saturday we went up to see Matthew's Grandma Mae and family at her retirement home. We had cookie bars, angel food cake and strawberry fluff-yum! Graham loves to run in and out of the old guys' room who sleeps through it all-ha! And, he is always found talking to the older ladies near the television. Thank goodness it's a locked unit, so he can't get too far.
On Sunday we did not go to church since Behrend was up in the night with the start of an icky cold. We headed over to my parents' house in the morning so B could take a nap then Graham and I walked up to a school playground and worked up an appetite for a big lunch with my parents, David and my grandparents. It turned into a nice day so we played outside a ton and even got the water toys out!
Then today my MOPS group hosted a neat Easter egg hunt and brunch, so Graham and I had more fun while B went to Nana and Poppa's for a nap and cuddles. Even baby Dalton got in on the fun at MOPS!
Happy Easter!! I bet next year will be even more fun and crazy with two kiddos running all over the place!
