July Update

August has rolled in and I still need to wrap up July! We had a very busy month and our August is flying by...in a good way!

My Mom's cousin Candy from California came to visit us! She brought blankets for the boys and a neat tent!

We walked to the library with our friends Kristi and Olivia. Graham loves going to the library and Behrend likes to rearrange all of the chairs.

Behrend got his first haircut. He did great for the haircut and when the stylist got out the clippers he just popped his thumb into his mouth and leaned into it. But, when he was done he was d-o-n-e. I think he looks so grown up with his haircut!

We have spent lots of days in the backyard riding bikes, climbing up the slide and following dad around pretending to mow the yard and blow the leaves.

We've had story time with Nana, too.

Matthew and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary! We had dinner at Four Brothers with Nick and Sara who were the ones to set us up!

My Mom and I traveled to Lincoln for one of Nellie's bridal showers! It was fun to meet more of her family, go to lunch with Betsy and Matt, and the food was delicious!

We celebrated Behrend's first birthday with a family party! He loved all his gifts, as did his big brother, especially his stuffed bison from Uncle David!

Then it was time for bed and a new month to begin!
