The longest relationship I have had besides with my family is my friendship with Emily (and Erin O'Brien!). I have known Em since we were little girls and I would not share my good Barbies with Em or her younger sister Katie. Ahhh good times. Thankfully she remained my friend despite having to always play with my ugly Barbie. Ha!
And, today we were able to celebrate the impending arrival of Baby A and Baby B! Yep, she is having twins...and boys! It will be so fun to have more little boys running around, but oh my gosh will it be loud and crazy! She is due in 2016 and today Katie hosted a baby shower at her home in Omaha. Graham, my Mom and (Auntie) Sara road tripped with me while Behrend stayed behind with the grandparents. I also got to see Betsy, Steph and Jennifer plus Em's friends that I get to see on special occasions.
She received lots of useful baby items plus some fun toys and books, but I think Betsy's homemade penguin hats stole the show. So cute! And Emily loves penguins!
And, the Aunt came from Denver!
Congratulations Emily and Tom! We can't wait to meet your two bundles of joy!
