Matthew, Bows and I went hiking in the Sioux City Prairie Preserve behind Briar Cliff on Sunday. It was a great day - 80 degrees, sunny, slight breeze. Bows walked almost the entire time, but she got tired at the end and just layed down in front of Matthew. We saw two deer and heard some rustling in the tall grasses, but I walked quickly away in case there were any snakes. We will definitely be back for more hiking this winter and spring.
