What a FUN weekend!! It started last Thursday night at the annual Book Club Christmas party. Kristin hosted this year so we got to see Chloe! Everyone brought a yummy snack and then we all ate junk food and did a book exchange.
On Friday my parents came over for lunch and to help me and Graham make cookies. My Dad entertained Graham while my Mom and I made Pecan Tassies and Sour Cream Sugar Cookies. Yum! My Mom also sewed some buttons onto my coats. (Thanks Mom!) The buttons popped off last winter when I was very pregnant with Mr. Graham.
Friday night we stayed inside since it was below freezing out and ate spaghetti for dinner before a bath.
Saturday morning Rebecca came to my rescue by helping me finish/fix my sewing projects. Then my Mom and I hit the road for Omaha. We spent time with the Van Norman ladies doing awkward family photos, drinks at Brix, dinner at Crave and back to Brix for drinks and dessert. (Emily and Lauri also squeezed in a stop at the Orpheum to see The Nutcracker.
Sunday morning Lauri fixed us a delicious breakfast then I headed way out west (in Omaha) to Steph's house to see Steph, Betsy, Jennifer and Nellie. We had a fun lunch at Roja then did a present exchange and ate peppermint pie and Eileen's Cookies-yum!
Happy Monday!
Oh and Graham and Matthew survived their first night without me. Looks like I can go out of town more often. Ha!
