Last Sunday, Behrend and I packed up the SUV and headed to Lincoln for a visit with Nellie and Matt! It is always so nice and relaxing to visit Nellie. She is such a hands-on friend of babies and all things itty bitty, so I even got to sneak away for two solo runs. Woohoo! And, we always find time to eat lots of yummy food!
When we first arrived B and I were introduced to Nellie and Matt's baby kitty Winston. He is a Siamese cat and I was amazed at how well he did with Behrend. Behrend was a big fan of Winston's toys and he even started to pull himself up while we were there and the cat post was a great place to practice!
On Monday Steph and Jennifer came for brunch and we hit up a new fro-yo place called Yogurtini. Behrend loved the acoustics in the place, so we left before he got too loud. (They had the BEST fro-yo I have ever had and I plan to take Graham there before Nellie's wedding in August.)
And, of course a visit to Nellie is not complete without pictures. She took B's one year pics and I can't wait to see how adorable he is! She got some great laughs with her "Ahh-choo" act and of course, monkey sounds! Then we hit up the Lincoln Zoo. So much fun!
