This past weekend my friend Jennifer and I drove across the state of Iowa (in very icky snow/ice/rain mix) to visit some friends. Our main destination was to see Chris Storms in Muscatine. Then I took a day trip to visit Amy, Alex and Kierstin (who is 3 and such a super cutie!) Wax in Burlington. It was a lot of fun and I learned that Muscatine used to be the pearl button capital of the U.S. and most of the Heinz ketchup packets that are put in restaurants are made in Muscatine. (Happy birthday Chris!)
