It has been 469 days since I was declared cancer free. (Or to make it appear in easier terms, 1 year, 3 months and 14 days.) And the funniest thing I realized today is that my hair is now long enough to reach my nose, so I can smell it. That might sound really funny, but it's so fun to be able to smell the essence of my shampoo. At first I was cutting my hair, because it grew from peach fuzz to baby hair and was impossible to deal with, but now it's back to its thick, unruly self.
Now I just need to deal with these bangs. I abhor growing my bangs out, but it has to be done. So in the next few months I might resort to bobby pins or lots of hairspray and headbands to keep the little buggers under control.
