Twin Cities Adventure

Eating at The Old Spaghetti Factory-yum!

Visiting the Como Park Zoo-it's free!

Beautiful orchids at the Como Park Conservatory!

David at The Old Spaghetti Factory-delish food!

The Old Spaghetti Factory has great stained glass.

I attended the National American Planner's Association Conference April 25-29 in Minneapolis. It was a great conference and I met people from Maryland, California, Georgia, Texas, Minnesota and New York. One woman from Los Angeles asked me when our spring begins. I said "This is spring." Ha! She did not believe me and neither did the two women from College Station, Texas. I found that planners (like some dietitians) do not have much of a sense of humor and they think they don't make much money (try working for a newspaper). Overall, I learned some, saw some sites and had a good time. My brother tagged along for some of it and enjoyed the downtown Nicollet Mall in Minneapolis.
