Something old, something new....

Pretty soon we will be a family and Bows won't be an illegtimate puppy! :-)
These are my Grandpa's sisters who are coming from California (Great Aunt Iona is on the left and my Great Aunt Beverly is on the right. Bev is also a fellow cancer survivor!)

Today when I was chatting with Sharon at work, she reminded me that I need to come up with my list of "Something old, something new..." I had completely forgotten this, so right now I have:

Something old: The pearl necklace my grandmother wore when she and my grandpa got married 59 years, 2 months and 25 days ago!

Something new: My dress, my hair pins and my shoes are all new

Something borrowed: I still need to figure this out. Maybe my mom has a pretty lace hanky I can have in case I shed a few tears. :-)

Something blue: I have some blue hydrangeas for my bouquet and a blue garter that I am debating if I will wear it.

We had our practice rehearsal with the minister last night and now I am nervous! It did not hit me until now that the wedding is only 5 days away!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited for this week, because I have tons of friends and family in town--today I am having dinner with Beau, Amy and Betsy then playing with Diego. My California relatives are coming on Wednesday and Jon is in town from Colorado. Plus my Omaha and Lincoln chicas are coming up to the festivities and my good friends from work are popping over.
