Who knew fog could be so thick?

On Friday morning I had a nuisance re-inspection scheduled for Holstein, Iowa. I should have known to wait when Matthew told me the news was announcing late starts for cities east of Sioux City. Oh pooh! I can make it...it can't be that bad....except when they say freezing fog they did mean it. On the bridges there were patches of ice and it was very dense fog. This was driving down into Correctionville...the fog was dense throughout the entire town going down the hill into it and climbing up out of it. I had to stop for a donut and water to refuel!
Bows was not a fan of fog. :-)

By the time I went to Moville the sun was out and reflecting beautifully off the fog.

This was the first hill I went down. I waiting to stop at the top of the hill near Theo's. There was major bridge construction in the valley by Healey Works, so people were driving sloooow. All in all it was not that bad and the fog wore off by 10-ish when school started up. It reminded me of my trip to Sheboygan, Wisconsin with Bobbie and Keith to visit my then-boyfriend in college. That fog was so dense it felt like a horror movie and it was right by Lake Michigan...good thing we did not end up in the lake! :-)
