White Christmas 2009

We made it to my parent's house for Christmas dinner with Aunt Paula and Uncle Bob (not pictured) then we went home so Matt could go plow that night.
Bows got a new bed from David for her Christmas present.

Matt broke out the snow blower for the back sidewalk.

Big drifts next to our house.

WOW! Sioux City, Iowa has received 20+ inches of snow and there might be more coming for New Year's! Our street is still not plowed and we have had many incidents getting stuck in Matt's work truck (like 2 hours on Christmas Day) and Mom's Pacifica (had to push that stinking car out of the alley), so I am thinking my car might not even get out by Monday night due to a very narrow and drifted alley.

Today I opened out front door to see snow even with the door and that's a good 4-foot high! I shoveled my little heart out and now my old bones are aching! Matt has been working non-stop to plow people out including more than 12 hours today. And, poor Bows is not enjoying that she can't play in her yard. Here are a few pics from the snow storm.
