What have I been up to...

On St. Patrick's Day we had a bonfire....and looked at our big snowpile!

Last year on March 1st Matthew and I got engaged! Time flies by so fast! Now we have been married for 8 months. Our good friends Nick and Sara (who set us up) will be married for six years on March 26th and Matt's business partner Aaron and his wife Cheryl are celebrating their first wedding anniversary on March 25th. It's a great month for love!

In other news, I am healing quite nicely from my gallbladder surgery and I will have some wicked, cool scars to show off...if anyone wants to look at my tummy. :-) I have my post-op visit tomorrow to make sure I am healing correctly. I am glad they glued me shut instead of stitches or staples. The last time I got stitches my scar got quite spread out.

We had Nick and Sara over for St. Patrick's Day to grill out brauts and hamburgers. Then we sat around the bonfire pit and looked at all the snow left in our yard. It was really funny (see above photo).

My Aunt Janet, Mom and I are planning my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary dinner. We are just all bringing food and planning a dinner at G&G's house. So far, Jim, Mandi, Liam, Brynn, and Aunt Carol are coming....and perhaps some mystery guests! I am taking time off to spend some time with family and hopefully enjoy the nice weather.
