On Tuesday, March 23rd, members of our staff attended the Women Aware awards. Michelle was nominated for Young Woman of Excellence and Kristi for Women Creating Art. There were 12 great ladies nominated and Kristi came home with an award. While Michelle is a winner to us, her competition included a woman who's adopted six children and fostered 18! We suggested next year she birth four babies at one time and it might help edge out the competition. :-) It was a nice evening and the food was excellent. I am already thinking of other women I'd like to nominate for next year's awards ceremony.
