I love summertime...in the beginning stages. I love the green-green grass and pretty flowers. Our peonies just bloomed and are bright pink with some yellow centers. Last night after exercise class I came home to mow the yard and I was just thankful to be outside for the evening after a winter of snow, snow and more snow. The grass is thick and full plus the weeds are at a minimum right now and we have not been inundated with the killer wasps that love our sidewalk on the south side of our home. Our new Autumn Purple Ash tree is doing great, too. (That could be because I had a bucket of leftover horse poop from Paul Orr, so I threw it around the base of the tree. Great fertilizer!) He's a big guy, but I don't think he'd appreciate being called a horse. And why do you have a bucket of his poop?
