Mom, Katie and I with the food tableMy mom and I hosted a bridal shower for Katie, who is getting married to Nick on Oct. 16, 2010. We had a chocolate theme, because Katie loves chocolate! My mom found super cute cupcake toppers at Sur La Table in California and we used a recipe from our mom's friend Becky Clark, who was definitely there in spirit. We played one game and nothing embarrassing. It is always fun to have showers, parties, get togethers with the VanNorman's because they are family. :-) Can't wait for the big day Katie!
