Bathroom Update: 9 months later

After nine months of demolition, sheetrocking, painting, sanding, tiling, grouting, and remodeling, the bathroom is coming together. Matt is currently staining the wood we bought to use as trim around the door and along the baseboards. It will be oak to match the cabinets and vanity. Our sink, toilet and tub at white. The walls are Oatland Sans Taupe, but sometimes it looks gray and sometimes it looks brown. Our tub/shower tile is matte white with brown/gray accents and the floor is gray with brown swirls. We hung our gold shower curtain up last night to see if it looks good and it appears to pull the room together.

We purchased a light bar with brown swirl lights and the mirror has a medicine cabinet behind it. Our new shower caddy and super high shower head. Matt is tired of bending down to shower underneath the one in the basement.
The curtain and window.

The floor tile.

Matt has done all the work himself except for the electrical (we hired an electrician), and David and I painted the first coat of wall paint. And, we hired someone to paint the tub white.

Great job Matthew!

I am very excited for it all to come together....soon I hope!
