Last week I spent three days in Des Moines with my boss learning about Community Development Block Grants. The fun of grant training for three days!
I have not had many meetings in the East Village of Des Moines, but it is such a pretty spot. (Can you spot the state capital?)
Kristi and I had lunch at the new place in town -- Zombie Burger. I had a weird lunch - salad and french fries.....they cancel each other out, right?

We met some fun guys from the Creston COG and had lunch at Spaghetti Works.
Another favorite spot is Court Avenue....home of the best Farmers' Market!
And, what trip is complete without a stop at The Cheesecake Factory!
