Due Date: January 30, 2013
Gender: We are NOT finding out. Wooo surprise!
Baby items purchased: We have not purchased much thanks to many good friends, but we have accumulated a crib (to be painted white), a high chair, bouncer seat, crib bedding, crib mattress, some baby clothes, and lots of maternity clothes.
Weight gained: Unknown until my next appointment, but I can still button my regular pants. At my first appt. I was at my regular weight then I dropped 8 pounds at my second appt. so I have been doing my best to eat and get my weight back on track. I know I will probably gain a bit by the end.
Activity: Two short dog walks, plus one longer walk with Matthew each day (2-3 miles with lots of hills!)and strength workouts every other day (gotta get my arms in shape for my bridesmaid dress).
Sleep: Good except for a little dog who likes to sleep right next to me (Tootsie is like a little heater)
Eats: I did not have any morning sickness (just some fun digestive issues from chemo), so I have been able to keep eating regular. I did not bake very much over the summer (not very like me), but that could also be due to the extreme heat.
Ooops Moments: I stuck my finger into the immersion blender to get some dough out and it turned on. Yikes! Sliced my fingernail in half and cut my finger up a little, and I might have gone a little drama queen. I told Matthew my reaction to this was a preview of how labor will be with me. Ha!
(I promise I don't always wear the same top, but it was really hot this day.)
Matthew started painting the crib from Holly & Ben. You can see it used to be a light brown. I am not allowed to spray paint, because I do such a horrible job. (The poor ducks will never be the same.)
I just love coming home, because there's always a little doggie in the window!
