We hosted a mini Superbowl party on Sunday to celebrate Matthew's birthday (he turned 29 on Monday). Sara and Nick brought over tons of yummy snacks (homemade fig jam, shrimp wontons, and guacamole) and some drinks. David brought cheese dip and chips and Aaron dropped by to visit with a friend. It was lots of fun, despite the 35 minute blackout in the stadium. I enjoyed Beyonce's halftime show and the pop-up Destiny's Child show.
Graham also got his first football from Grandma and Grandpa LaBrune, too. He wasn't too thrilled about it. Give it a few years and he will enjoy tossing the football around....or at the dog.
