Graham is officially 14-months-old on Friday and getting to be such a big boy!
(Note he is eating a banana while in the tub. I walked by the bathroom with a banana and he went nuts. This kid is an eating machine!)
Graham is....
--weighing 27 pounds
--wearing size 24 month shirts and 18-24 month pants and pjs
--a blue-eyed flirt with almost anyone
--starting to have temper tantrums
--running all over the place
--showing his independence
--a nature lover and cries when we say it's too cold to go outside
--a big mama's boy
--not a fan of the church nursery
--loves his Cozy Coupe
--so tough he got his first bloody nose falling out of said Cozy Coupe
--still a fan of walks and riding in the stroller
--a sweet lover and loves ice cream
--very loving. (He's a great cuddler and hugger.)
--interested in everything Dad has or works on in the garage
--a genius and beautiful according to his two grandmas
--a big fan of Uncle David and Jon
--constantly saying "Dada" and "MaMa" and "Tootsie"
--starting to say new words (Grandma, Duck, Shoe and more!)
--attached to his pacifier and will spit out food in his mouth if he sees a paci, so we often hide them
--a fan of feeding Tootsie and giving her pats on the back
--fond of daycare and giving the other kids' hugs
--always trying to carry his Mr. Sheep places, but it must stay at home or in the car
--drinking out of cups well and using a fork to stab food
--so happy when other kids comes to play at his house
Graham is definitely going through a "mama" phase right now, but he's slowly warming back up to Dad. He was very attached to Matthew as an infant and I think once he realizes mama is not as cool as dad he will drop me like a hot potato. After all, I do not drive a big blue truck and Graham is obsessed with trucks. He will charge out into the alley to see the neighbor guys come home in their trucks and he points them out when we are on walks.
Graham and Tootsie are also getting along better. At first I wondered if we'd have to get rid of her, because she was a jealous dog. But now she's great at hiding from Graham when he gets wild and she sits patiently when he pets her or rubs her head and back. His favorite thing is to rub his head on her fur, because she is so soft. And, now he's a big fan of feeding her cheese and meat, so Tootsie ain't no dummy.
