Behrend is 9 months old! I can't believe how fast it goes with the second child! He still is not a fan of the bottle and usually bites at it like in this picture.
Behrend is our thumb sucker, but it usually happens when he is tired or hungry. Otherwise he has a smile on his face and he LOVES to watch his big brother or Tootsie.
Behrend has his 9-month check up at the doctor. He weighed 20 and a half pounds (64th percentile) and is 30.5 inches long (99th percentile). I think he's going to be long and lean like his dad. At 10 months old, Graham was about 4 pounds heavier than Behrend, but a half inch shorter. Perhaps the old wives tale of the second son is always taller than the first one will come true.
Behrend still takes a morning and afternoon nap. He is still nursing and is finally starting to sleep through the night after a very long and painful (for all of us) teething season. Behrend has his two bottom teeth and two top front teeth.
And, he has the best hair ever! He also loves beards, so anytime a guy with a beard holds him he has to touch it. Maybe he will be able to grow a better beard than his dad. Ha!
I can't wait to see how much this cute little guy will change in the next three months.
