New Recipes

Nellie's Grandma's Egg and Cheese Bake
1 cup Bisquick
1 1/2 cup cottage cheese
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp dried parsley
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 lb. cheddar cheese, shredded
6 eggs, lightly beaten
1 cup milk
2/3 cup butter, melted

Mix all ingredients together except margarine. Put margarine in 9x13 pan. Pour in cheese mixture, spreading evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. (we sometimes add sausage to the mixture, but you can really add just about anything you like)

Natalie's Crock-pot Potato Soup
8 cups peeled, diced potatoes
3 cups chicken broth
1 tsp onion powder
salt and pepper
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 cup chopped carrots
1 package cream cheese, cubed (this gets added 1 hour before you serve)

Mix all ingredients together in crock-pot except for the cream cheese. Cook on high for 4 hours and low for 4 hours. Serve with shredded cheese and cooked bacon pieces on top.
