JLSC Retreat-Okoboji Team Building

On Saturday we began the day bright and early....well at 9 a.m....at Camp Foster.

We started with a card activity.

We had to judge each other on how high or low our cards were.

Then we had to line up in the correct order of low to high.  We actually did well. (We are such good communicators. :-) Haha.)

(back row) Diana, Sara, Angie, Kellee, SaraBeth, Cyndi; (front row) Jeannette, Alex, Krista, Kristin, Me

Then we headed to the low ropes course.

SaraBeth was in charge of the bucket of water. She was not allowed to let any spill.  She held the bucket the entire time.

Kristin was the first one to swing across on the rope.

Then Kellee took a try.

Krista swinging on the rope.

Near the end it was decided that Kristin would swing across with the bucket of water between her legs.  Turns out that worked except she ended up soaked.

SaraBeth discovered if you make Tarzan sounds you get across much easier.

After team building, we had lunch made by Cindy and Leesa.

Kristin ate spinach for the first time!

Then we did more planning.

It was a lot of fun.

After lunch, some people shopped, some took naps.

Krista, Michelle and I took a walk through Gull Point State Park and crashed a wedding.

We walked 1.7 miles in the windy weather.

Next we got dolled up for dinner back at Cindy's clubhouse.
