Last week I was taking a bike ride when I noticed the carnies were pulling their trailers into the M'Side Public Library lot. That can only mean one thing....Morningside Days! So, on Thursday night I rode my bike up to the Avenue to watch the parade with the Wilson family. (Clark, Breanna, Reed, Becca, Liam and Grandpa Bob)
Liam and Clark were very excited for the parade!
The East High marching band and flag squad put on a good show.
We decided this clown looked like he was wearing a Rainbow Snow wig.
The crazy Shriners came zooming down the Avenue.
Clark and I were secretly eating the candy.
The East Middle band and flag squad were really good.
It was a great parade, but lots of gaps between the floats, so we sat for over an hour and I left before it was over. I hope the Wilson family enjoyed the rest of the parade!
(Side note: Bows had a mini stroke today. She is doing better, but keeps walking in circles and is tired.)
