Life has been a bit hectic lately. Summer is always so busy and full of fun things to do. My Great Aunt Iona is visiting from California and I've been trying to spend as much time as possible with her. (By the way Happy Birthday today Iona!) And, I went to a new-to-us Splash Park at 15th and Dale Streets with my friend Rebecca and her three little boys.
At first we did not know what to do or play with, but then...
Reed discovered the frog spits out water!
And, Clark was timid at first, but then he got braver.
Perhaps a bit of p-o-p helped spark his bravery.
Guzzling a little sugar never hurt anyone. :-)
And, Becca discovered a neat playground the perfect size for adults.

Matthew and I have been doing lots of family outings, so we went to dinner all by ourselves to Diamond Thai (love that place!). We tried new things again--Golden Bags appetizer, Thai iced tea, Pad Thai and Green Salmon Curry. Everything there is always delicious and fresh.
We also took a road trip to Sioux Falls to visit Matthew's Grandma Mae (left) and brought along Iona.
And, we saw some geese...shouldn't they be farther north?
Next up we have lots of family dinners and birthday celebrations (Iona, Matt's dad, my dad and my grandpa's) then our anniversary is coming up (3 years later we are still happily married).
