A Coffee Date...3

If we were to go on a coffee date...I would take you to one of my favorite places: Target.  I love walking in the front doors and smelling freshly popped popcorn.  I usually get the pop/popcorn combo if I am feeling hungry and have a lot of shopping to do. We could walk around Target looking at all the clearance sections, especially the clothes, while gabbing away.

I would tell you that we lost our little dog a month ago and I still think our house is too quiet.  We have looked for another dog, but it's hard to replace such a good one.

I am excited for Matthew to start his student teaching at Akron High School.  He will do that for the first semester then receive a teaching contract for the second semester.  (Which means he will graduate in December!)

I would tell you that my second college roommate hosted a get together at her house in July and it was a lot of fun.  (I went on my first ride in a limo!  Thanks Bobbie!)

I would tell you that my Great Aunt from California was here for two weeks and we enjoyed her visit.  My Mom and I are planning a weekend visit to see her this fall.

I would tell you my friend Emily is getting married in November at an outdoor ceremony on her acreage and I am a bridesmaid.  So we are in wedding season overload and it has been fun.

I would tell you it's nice having both parents retired, so we can get together for lunches and catch up.

I would tell you I just read a very thought provoking book for Book Club called "A Thousand Splendid Suns".

I would ask how things are going with you, what your fall plans are and when we can get together again.

And I would say, "Have fun browsing. I'll be here in the food court still when you are done looking!" LOL I love the mini pizzas!
