My friend Beau introduced me to a wonderful blog called "Young House Love" and I am forever addicted. Now my friend Kellee and I are always thinking of new home projects much to our husbands' chagrin.
This last weekend we spray painted an aolder oak colored bookshelf white for our bedroom, and we placed a new piece of art that our wonderful friends purchased for us--a canvas print of our dog Bows who passed away July 7. It seriously looks just like her....especially when she was giving Matthew the stink eye.
It now has a place of honor next to the stuffed Schnauzer we received as a wedding present from my former boss Jane (another Schnauzer lover).
We also bought our very first piece of brand new furniture for our living room. A TV stand! It even has space to store our dvds so we don't have a college dorm room vibe! And, we plan to sell our living room set (I am not storing anything else in the basement) so we can purchase the nice couch we have picked out.
And, we've started cleaning out the front bedroom/office for our next big project.
