L is for Loving the Nursery Progress (29 Weeks)

How far along? 29 Weeks

Baby’s Size: About 2.5 pounds

Weight Gain: +14 pounds

Bellybutton: It's an innie, but getting really flat.  I have some nice gallbladder surgery scars that are showing up now that they are stretching.

Stretchmarks: My parents bought me some Skinny Girl belly butter and it looks just like vanilla frosting.  But I am refraining from eating it! Ha!

Fitness:

Wednesday-- 1 mile walk

Thursday--  1 short dog walk

Friday-- 5 mile walk

Saturday-- 1.2 mile walk (We got caught in the rain storm!)

Sunday-- .5 mile walk (Brrrr!!!)

Monday-- 1.5 mile walk

Tuesday-- 2 mile walk

Total = 11.2+ mile walks

Names:  I saw a new boys' name in the church bulletin on Sunday that I really like.

Gender: Most people think I am having a girl, because I am carrying high, but my gut says boy....or that could be because we have more boy names picked out than girl names.

Baby Movement: It's at different times throughout the day, especially after I drink a pop.  The most active seems to be while I am at work, sitting on my bottom all day.

Sleep:  Good, but Matthew tells me I snore very loud. I think I woke myself up last night from snoring.

Food Aversions:   Hmmm.....I will eat anything, and I am in a big cooking mood. Good thing we are hosting Thanksgiving.

THINGS/PROGRESS TO DO:  The room is painted, the crib is painted and the dresser is painted! We are starting to get the nursery ready and it's looking super cute.  We also took a breastfeeding class and have an upcoming childbirth class/boot camp for new dad's class in December.

Best Moments of the Week:  Lunch with friends, Andy's 3rd birthday party, the nice weather on Saturday!

This is how Tootsie likes to lay. Nellie would tell her she is most unladylike.

My Mom did an awesome job making us curtains, a changing pad, bulletin board, pillow and dresser runner. We found the fabric at Hobby Lobby.

As you can see the nursery still has some work.
We have to carry the dark wood desk to the basement and get the crib set up.

We are also going shopping for a rocker or glider to put in the corner by the front window.

And, Steph wants to go basket shopping for the bookshelf.   Lots to do and only 11 weeks left!

We always had more girl names than boy. Hmmm...you will probably have a girl then.
