M is for Moods: So far I don't feel like I have been overly emotional. I have not had any breakdowns or sobfests. I did get teary at Emily's wedding, but weddings always make me cry. It's just so happy. :-) I have also felt pretty upbeat for the most part and I think a lot of that has had to do with continuiing to exercise by taking nightly walks. And, just like during chemotherapy I have invested in some waterproof mascara in case the threat of tears strikes. (My Mom and I learned that trick the hard way.) So, overall I think I am just happy to be pregnant and the fact that Matthew graduates in less than a month from college is pretty exciting.
How far along? 30 Weeks
Baby’s Size: About 3 pounds
Weight Gain: +14 pounds
Bellybutton: Still an innie.
Stretchmarks: I am lucky so far.
Fitness:
Wednesday-- 2 mile walk
Thursday-- 2 mile walk
Friday-- 2 mile walk
Saturday-- 2 mile walk
Sunday-- .75 mile walk
Monday-- 2-mile walk
Tuesday-- 2-mile walk
Total = 12.75 miles
Names: Matthew's favorite names start with G, B, and B.
Gender: Maybe it's a Tootsie?
Baby Movement: I can see my tummy moving now. It's almost always on the right side, so I don't know if there are arms or legs on that side.
Sleep: I need lots of it!
Food: I have been baking up a storm. We have 12 banana muffins, 12 pumpkin mini muffins, breads and cinnamon rolls in our freezer. Plus we are hosting Thanksgiving, so lots of meat and casseroles are premade already.
THINGS/PROGRESS TO DO: Matthew worked on the final wood trim for the windows, so I can soon paint that and then we can install shades or blinds. Matthew also turned in his final paper and lesson plans for Wayne. Woohoo! We cleaned our basement, too, so now it's usable and tidy.
Best Moments of the Week: Spending time with friends and family!
