O is for Oh My Gosh You Are Huge! (32 Weeks)

O is for Oh My Gosh You Are Huge!:   I think it's so funny that once a pregnant woman "pops" people feel like telling her she's big. Or in the case of my 86-year-old (normally very nice) neighbor lady the first words she said to me this week were "Gosh you got fat!"  Hmmm....I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant, not fat, but I will check and get back to her. :-)

32 Weeks

How far along? 32 Weeks (This is the first appointment Matthew has not made it to. He's been able to come to every appointment despite college and student teaching. It has been nice to have a very involved husband.  My Mom was nice enough to go with me this week. Thanks Mom!) (8 weeks left!)

Baby’s Size: About 4 pounds (and it was head down at this appointment. Hopefully he/she stays that way!)

Weight Gain: +22 pounds

Bellybutton: Still an innie, but it's stretched very flat.

Stretchmarks: Keep using the lotion.

Fitness:
Thursday--  Rest Day
Friday--  1.5 mile walk
Saturday-- 2 mile walk
Sunday-- 2.5 mile walk
Monday-- 1.5 mile walk
Tuesday-- 2 mile walk
Wednesday-- 1.5 mile walk
Total = 11 miles

Names: We are at an impasse.  Matthew likes two names (starting with "G" and "B") and I like two different names (starting with "G" and "L").  He told me I will probably be otherwise occupied so he will be glad to fill out the paperwork. Ha!

Gender: We were the only ones in our child birth class who did not know what we are having. There were three having girls and one will be named Paige and two having boys and one will be named Bently.  There was also a dad named Khorey.  Don't do that to your children people. It's mean.

Baby Movement: Hiccups when I lay down.  I could feel a foot or hand on my right side the other day.

Sleep:  Snoring lots and lots!

Food: Still hungry. I need to avoid sweets and snacks. That is so hard this time of year!

THINGS/PROGRESS TO DO:  Finish the nursery windows, purchase a chair for the nursery, clean the house for baby shower this weekend!

Best Moments of the Week:   We passed our childbirth class and are certified! (Well, we got a certificate.)  It was very informative and it was fun to hear what other pregnant couples around our age are thinking.   One girl is absolutely terrified of the "what ifs" and I am betting she read all the scary parts of "What to expect when you are expecting".

Stay tuned for a nursery update!
