Miss Lauri has moved to her new home, so Graham, Mom and I had lunch with Miss Lauri, Katie and Alicia on Friday at Perkins. Graham charmed the ladies and got passed around for lots of cuddles.
We are really, really, really going to miss Miss Lauri! I still remember the day the Van Normans moved back to Sioux City. It was a hot summer day right before my junior year at East High School. Emily and I hung out in the driveway and she gave me her Aqua CD. That is true friendship. I hope Miss Lauri enjoys living close to Emily and Katie, and I hope she is prepared for us to show up on her doorstep when we need a Miss Lauri/iced mocha fix.
I think we have a future David on our hands. Graham looks a ton like Matthew's brother from his face shape to hair color, but he's built like my brother. We are afraid he might eat us out of house and home. Ha!
Grandpa loves when Graham comes to visit. It's another reason to play with lanterns and flashlights!
Poor Matthew was sick Friday and Saturday, so Graham and I went shopping, for walks, lunches and lots of stuff to get out of the house and away from germs.
Why buy toys when yogurt lids are so much fun!
Tootsie spent the weekend on squirrel patrol.
And, Graham got to bond with his favorite red haired Uncle Jon at House of Q. Good times.
