Happy 9-Month Birthday Graham!
We started October with a weigh-in. Graham weighed in at 23 pounds on our scale at home. He's is really filling out his size 12 months pants and wears size 18 or 24 month onesies or t-shirts. I washed up all of his 18 and 24 month clothes for the upcoming cooler weather.
Graham has discovered some new toys this month. A Cozy Coupe! A little riding zebra! A walker! On Saturday he was slowly taking steps in the middle of the living room floor with his little walker!
Graham is starting to dislike being fed with a spoon and wants to feed himself more. We've tried green beans, bananas, Puffs, Cheerios, chicken, French fries, chicken nuggets, and Sunday night he ate two pieces of homemade pizza. He must be growing, because for breakfast the other day he ate a whole homemade muffin, a fourth of a scrambled egg and almost an entire container of yogurt! He has pretty good hand-eye coordination and most of the food ends up in his mouth.
Graham still loves ice cream! We just give him a few bites every now and then, but once he gets one bite he wants more and more. Kind of like his Uncle David.
Graham looks a lot like Matthew's mom and brother. He has a very similiar smile to his Grandma Patty. And, he has very blue eyes like his Grandma Nancy. I'd say he's a good mix of both sides of our families.
Graham FINALLY started to sleep better near 8 months old. I'm not sure if it's just his age or he is doing more during the day so he tires himself out. He would stand up all day if we'd let him. Still no crawling, but I think he's just too timid to try it and he's got a lot of weight to haul around.
He is a talking fool! Graham's favorite words are Da Da, ba ba, Toot Toot (Tootsie) and he can now say Ma Ma!
