Well, things were going along smoothly until I started to feel not too great over the last few weeks. I was super tired, worn out and wondering if I had become anemic. So I ate a few more hamburgers and took a day to run errands and get caught up at home. Looking back the not feeling well was probably a sign of things to come and last Thursday I ended up in the hospital. I stayed for four nights and was released to come home on bedrest in hopes that Baby #2 will stay in for at least a few more weeks. I am hoping we do not have to go through that again. After all, a lady only needs to ride in an ambulance once to realize how uncomfortable the ride truly is.
The hardest part of being in the hospital was how Graham reacted. He is too young to understand what is going on and was very upset. Plus the little guy got really sick for the first time ever and I was not there to comfort him. Luckily, he had Dad and his grandparents to take great care of him.
Due Date: August 25, 2014p>
Gender: It's a...baby!
Feeling: Better than I was last week!
Weight: 22 pounds...I lost about 4 pounds over the last week, but I am working to gain those pounds back and then some!
Clothes: I stole a t-shirt from Matthew's closet over the weekend, because the baby bump is sticking out pretty far so t-shirts are starting to creep up.
Doctor: Going to the doctor every week plus I've now had 4 ultrasounds and have one more next week.
Nursery: It's finally coming along! I am so excited for Graham's big boy room, too!
Things we need: Baby washcloths, crib mattress pad, onsies on the list, and cotton Halo sleep sacks.
Things we need to do before baby arrives: Wash up all of Graham's sleepers and onsies. I forgot how cute they are and how many yellow items we received. I love babies in yellow! Paint the new baby dresser and find new knobs. Finish rearranging rooms.
Names: Still no top winner, but we will probably worry about this after baby arrives.
6 Weeks until D-Day!
