Graham Update (1 1/2 Years Old)

It's official! My first baby is truly a toddler! He is one and a half years old going on 16! Graham is in the top percentiles for height (34") and weight (31.5 lbs) and who knows about that head holding his giant brain!

Graham's vocabulary is expanding every day. He repeats things we say and will say "cheese" when you take his photo and says "please" for things (usually upon reminder). He loves to say Daddy, Tootsie, Mama, baby and is not quite saying other people's names, but he sure has Uncle Bob's name down pat. When I ask him a question he will now say yes or no and shake his head either up or down.

Healthwise he had a bit of a setback while I was in the hospital with baby #2, Graham developed hand-foot-mouth disease. Poor kid has blisters all over his feet, hands, legs, bottom and chin. It's almost all gone now except his leg blisters are healing. He handled things surprisingly well and only had a fever for two days, but his appetite definitely was not normal. Don't worry he is back to his normal hungry self.

Graham had to share his toys for the first time for a whole week with our houseguest Mallory and it went really well. I don't know if he was trying to be a gentleman to her, because when his guy friends come over he tends to shout "Mine!" more often.

Graham is very active and loves to ride his little motorcycle and Elmo riding toys. He also pushes his little lawnmower and Cozy Coupe around the yard plus goes down the slide all on his own.

As far as tantrums Graham still has them, but the more he communicates the less his tantrums are happening. His personality is really coming out and he's such a fun little guy. I hope this stays true once his little sibling arrives!
