What A Week (I should make this a TV script!)

So in my last blog post I mentioned I was hospitalized due to some pregnancy complications. Well while I was hospitalized the week of unbelievable things began to happen. (I will try to remember them in the right order.)

The List of Unbelievable Things:

1) I was hospitalized for pregnancy complications, transported by ambulance to a different hospital, stayed four nights, and no real answer for why the complications happened, but thankful they stopped by Monday morning. (And, my friend/doula Becca came up to the hospital and slept on the floor Thursday night because I almost ended up in an emergency c-section.)
2) Our friends from Connecticut and their little girl arrived Friday night while I was still in the hospital and my parents had Graham overnight. Thankfully our friends are very resourceful and could fend for themselves.
3) Matthew stayed with Graham at home on Saturday night, because Graham developed a fever of 102 (which is very high for him).
4) Matthew called Sunday morning to say Graham has what looks like hand-foot-mouth disease and was taking him to Urgent Care. Yep, he had the hand-foot-mouth junk and had already exposed all of us plus our friends and their daughter to it.
5) Graham stayed overnight at my parents' house on Sunday and woke up three times due to discomfort. He had the most blisters on his feet and hands and bottom. Ouch! (And, this is the first time Graham has really been sick except for croup when he was a tiny baby.)

6) My Mom came to get me Monday and I called into work to report I am on mandated bedrest--six weeks before my actual due date.

7) On Tuesday our friends went to visit a friend and their daughter throws up! He has to spend an hour on the phone with the insurance company, because they are out of network and want to make sure they can take her to urgent care without a huge bill. Turns out she has a double ear infection and antibiotics are ordered.
8) Wednesday my Mom takes me to the doctor for a check up and baby's heartbeat is very strong. (Hoping baby #2 holds off because my doctor is leaving Thursday for her son's weeklong baseball tournament.) Our friends watch Graham for a bit because our babysitter's little girl has come down with diarrhea and a fever, so daycare is closed.
9) Also, one morning the door knob on our bathroom door falls off and while our guest is showering the water goes from hot to cold and the shower makes a horrible noise!
10) Then our littlest houseguest also comes down with hand-foot-mouth disease! Poor thing has lots of sores in her mouth and does not sleep well keeping her parents up for a 3-hour time span on Wednesday night.
11) I also start feeling like a bad cold is coming on and wake up the next morning with a full blown sinus infection. Luckily, my doctor calls me in an antibiotic that starts to work by the next day.
12) Then our poor daycare provider has to go back for some more pregnancy tests, so Graham stays home all week with me. (Graham has been doing really well despite being handed off to grandparents, uncles, friends, stranger down the block....just kidding and recuperating with his little blisters!)
12) And, that my friends has been our crazy week. I figured I should write it down so I can tell Baby #2 all about the crazy drama before arrival. I am hoping for quieter times leading up to Baby #2's arrival. And, I am so thankful for all the meals delivered, phone calls, flowers and kind thoughts and prayers! And, especially to Beau and Amy for making last week work out so well and thanks for helping out with Graham!
