This was a very fun 4th of July weekend! Last year we traveled to Steph and Kevin's in Omaha then to James and Katie's near Sioux Falls, which was a lot of fun, but this year we decided to stick close to home.
We went to Alex's parents' house just north of Sioux City for a pool party/cookout. We arrived just after naptime and had delicious food. I love potlucks! And, Graham loves hamburgers....until the little cockerspaniel Bella got ahold of half of it! Ha!
Last time we visited Graham did not want to really be in the pool and this time he just got right in on his own! He and Jon were swimming buddies.
Oh did I mention there was ice cream cake? Yum!
Graham was so brave he got up and walked to the end of the diving board in the 10-foot deep water! So Dad and Jon had to tow him back to the shallow end. (But it looks like Graham is pushing Matthew under the water. Ha! Good thing it's a salt water pool so he's a bit more bouyant!)
Happy 4th of July! Thanks for inviting us Carter family! Up next we have my Grandpa's birthday, Matt's Dad's birthday, my Dad's birthday, and our 5th wedding anniversary! Plus our friends Beau, Amy and Mallory arrive on Friday for a week!
