Thank goodness it's Friday! Do you remember when, I believe, ABC had TGIF on Friday nights? It was a line-up of 30-minute sitcoms that I used to love watching, like "Sister Sister" and the Urkel show plus "Full House" and others. Now I have to say that Friday television bites the big one. There is nothing on for parents with young kids to watch and face it, people with kids are usually home on Friday nights. I think they should bring back TGIF nights!
On another note, I am loving the new television shows, but it's hard to keep up. Matt and I recently got a DVR and I love how we can record our shows and then delete them so easily. The problem is our DVR is filling up fast and we are not finding more time for TV. I figure we will eventually catch up...like this winter. :-) If not, there is always summer for re-runs.
My favorite shows right now are:
Monday - "Big Bang Theory" "How I Met Your Mother" "Two and a half men" "The Hills"
Tuesday - "The Biggest Loser"
Wednesday - "Private Practice"
Thursday - "Ugly Betty" "Grey's Anatomy" "The Office" "My name is Earl"
Friday - nada
Saturday - nada
Sunday - "Desperate Housewives"
As you can see, that is 8 hours of TV and it's hard to cram in just the local news and Good Morning America some days. :-) What shows are you watching? Are there any others I should add to my weekly schedule?

I miss when Friday night television was a good reason to stay home. Not so much anymore. I, too, have DVR. Here are my favorite shows each week...
Monday - "How I Met Your Mother" and "One Tree Hill."
Tuesday - "90210," "Greek" (on ABC Family), "Law & Order: SVU."
Wednesday - "Friday Night Lights" (only on DirecTV) and "Private Practice."
Thursday - "Survivor" and "Grey's Anatomy."
Friday - "Ghost Whisperer" and "The Ex List."
Saturday - "Moving Up" (on TLC).
Sunday - "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition," "Army Wives" (on Lifetime) and "Brothers and Sisters."
When they are in season, I also love "Big Brother" and "American Idol."
How I Met Your Mother (Wesleyan connection!), The Office, Family Guy, South Park, The Daily Show, and The Colbert Report are the shows I try to watch regularly. My TiVo is filling up awfully fast though.
