Can it be any colder in here?

Here is a random photo from work. Kellee (left to right), Lacey, me and Eric had to attend a Legislative Forum at WIT, so we all grabbed a spot at the back table and proceeded to chat, laugh and make fun of the speakers in true professional style. After all, if you can't have fun at work...why go? :-)

For the past week, Sioux City has been an arctic mess of cold winds, freezing windchills and bitter nights. I am very grateful that today's high is 18 degrees!
The last two nights I have had evening meetings, so that means braving the even more bitter cold to come home in the dark. Last night it was so cold that the tire pressure in my car dropped from 33 to 24 and I drove home with a warning light on, because I was not going to stop and put air in my tire when it felt like -50 outside! And, I am down to my last little dribble of gas in the tank, so thank the weather gods that today will be warmer!

Grace in Small Things #2
1. Meeting new people (in my age category) in Sioux City (not an easy feat!)
2. Realizing I am not the only person who dislikes constant complainers
3. Visiting my friends in Omaha
4. Cute doggy yaps when I or someone new arrives home
5. Push up bras (face it, gravity does set in when you hit 25) :-)

The bigger they are, the farther they fall. Thank god for living in the USA...have you seen those African hangers?!

We're talking about item #5, right? If that's the case...maybe I should excuse myself from the conversation. :)
