This weekend Matt and I spent some quality time with the relatives. On Saturday morning we had coffee with his parents at Panera Bread, to the Home Show, then we went to visit my grandparents in the afternoon. Saturday night we went to dinner at Applebee's with my parents and my brother David then we went to my parent's house for pie. My mom made me a homemade blueberry pie (my fav!) and I opened my birthday presents. (My parents gave me some cool mixing bowls, a cake pan and a pretty cream sweater.) David chased the dog around the house and by the end of the evening I think both Bows and David had their tongues hanging out of their mouths, panting. Ha!
On Sunday, we went to Sam's with my parents then to visit my Aunt Janet and Uncle Denny. Janet made delish brownies! After that we went to my Aunt Paula and Uncle Bob's house to visit. David came with us to the relatives, since he had the day off work. That night I went to exercise class and came home to watch Season 2 of the Office. (Sorry Chris, I promise to get those back to you this spring!)
Matt's hand is healing nicely and he hopefully won't have a huge scar. And, something big happened Sunday night.....but more on that later. :-)
