The week is winding down

(Caption--Nellie, Corey (cousin), Tammy (cousin) and I at the Howl at the Moon Bar in Universal Studio's City Walk. It was a dueling piano bar and was a lot of fun.)
What a week! I got home Monday night at 9:45 p.m. and went back to work Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. Then Matt cut his knuckle open all the way down to the tendon, so he has been walking around with a wood shim attached to his fingers. Plus it was his left hand and he is left handed, so that has been interesting watching him attempt to eat, open stuff and just use his right hand. :-)

Then I had dinner at the parent's house (pancakes-yum!) and my Mom asked if she could give Bows a pancake. I said yes, not realizing she was going to also spread a little peanut butter and syrup on the pancake. Now my dog has a beard that smells like maple syrup, so I need to give her a bath asap. My mom informed me that if Bows was going to eat a pancake, that was the correct way to eat it.

I also had Junior League on Thursday night and learned how to put out clothes in the Discovery Shop. I had a few snacks, but I totally broke my Lent rule and drank Diet Coke. However, there were no fries, so that rule was not in trouble. :-)

This weekend I plan to spend some quality time with Matt and Bows. Maybe I will hit up Target for some dog food and paper towels (we are almost out). And, my family, Matt and I are going out for a late dinner for my birthday (it was last week). Have a good weekend and I will post pics over the weekend!
