When we moved into our house there were some awful bushes in front of the bedroom window. So Matt and his friend Jon and a neighbor guy took them out last summer. So this summer we decided to put in a flower bed and my Grandma bought me this beautiful geranium from the Transit Ave. Fareway. I also filled in with some hosta, zinnias and impatiens. Plus my parents gave me some lily of the valley that spreads well.
Bows enjoyed being outside most of the weekend. She loves to rub her face in the grass....which could explain her allergies.
Two of the plants that came up this spring that I love are the daisies and clematis. Aren't they beautiful?
Honey (right) and Gideon (left) were very interested in the fish Aaron caught in the Missouri River.
Libby was being a bit chatty with Gideon and had to take a time-out in Aaron's camper. I think she had the most sand in her fur out of all four dogs at the cookout...including the random dog that wandered into our campsite and peed on our blanket!
Jennifer and I enjoyed some libations before the cookout. Yay for wine coolers-the drink of champions!
