I love 3-day weekends, but they always go by too fast. This weekend was no exception and before I knew it, Labor Day was over and done for 2009. Here is a bit of what we did:
Friday-
Went for a bike ride up to Walgreen's Red Box to rent "Sunshine Cleaning"
Saw the Feds inside of former Vantus Bank (thought it was suspicious the bank was open at 8:30 p.m.)
Worked on wedding thank you notes
Saturday-
Went to Farmer's Market with my mom and Bows (bought an onion and a rhubarb pie!)
Got some candy for Sara at Palmer's Candy Store (she loves sours stuff)
Had lunch with Beau, Amy, Amanda, Sara, Chris and Jennifer at Johnny Mars (waitress asked if I wanted my chicken strips crispy or tender...when I asked what the difference was she said "one is crispy and one is tender" Ha!)
Had dinner with David, Nick & Sara at Chili's (love their chips and salsa!)
Had a bonfire at our house after dinner (David made s'mores)
Sunday-
Had coffee with Matt's parents at Panera Bread (tried a new bagel-cherry vanilla-yum!)
Went to Artsplash with mom and the VanNorman's (we decorated cute pots, bought a pretty necklace)
Took a nice nap with Bowser
Babysat for Lacey and Bryan's son Donovan (we read lots of books and caught up on cable)
Monday-
Took Bows shopping at PetSmart (she picked out her Halloween costume)
Went to Gap Outlet and other Lakeport Commons stores (I admit, I was there twice in one day!)
Had a cookout with the VanNorman's, my fam and grandparents
Played a mean game of croquet (I won!)
Worked on wedding thank you notes
Took Bows and Magnolia for a walk
Watched my fav show "The Big Bang Theory"
Went to bed tired!
