Before: beautifully awful sparkly gold linoleum
When we moved into our house we had grand ideas about refinishing the hardwood floors. Then we pulled up the old carpet to find the previous owners had glued sparkly gold linoleum to the hardwood. So, we decided after living with icky floors for a year, we would carpet over them. Our front bedroom, hallway, living room and dining room now have a nice layer of fluffy carpet. The only problem is that we can't hear the dog now, so she tends to sneak up on us.
