Meetings galore

The month of September has been packed full of meetings and this week is no exception. I went to Smithland and Anthon last night and Wed-Fri I am heading to Ankeny for an IARC conference with my community development co-workers Lacey and Kristi. (Thankfully that is near good shopping-yay Jordan Creek Mall!) Bows went on a road trip to Anthon with me where she sniffed everything in the park.

On an icky note, I got picked for jury duty again! (This is my second time in 27 years!) And, it is the same week Matthew and I are heading to Portage, Indiana for his friend Mark's wedding. Hopefully they don't pick me as a juror!

On a positive note, my friend Ellen from Washington D.C. is coming to Sioux City next week. I have not seen her for 5 years and she is coming back to give BVU students some great ideas for internships. Ellen works at Meet the Press-NBC and has done tons of internships. (Go Mass Comm. majors!)

And, this Saturday is the Race for Hope at the Adam's Nature Preserve in McCook Lake, SD. It's not too late to sign up!
