Florida 2010 = Freezing my butt off!

Last Wednesday (Jan. 6th), Matthew and I loaded up our All-Wheel Drive sleigh and embarked on the winter majesty that is a snowstorm in the making. We cruised down to Omaha, not going more than 65 mph, and got to the airport just in time to park and wait to board the plane. After we were seated on the plane, we waited about 1 1/2 hour for the exterior of the plane to receive a de-icing treatment. (Yikes! I have flown in the winter, but never during a blizzard so I was a bit apprehensive.)
However, things went fine and we landed in Florida and got on a shuttle to our hotel. We arrived around 9 p.m. and went in search of food and drinks. Luckily, our hotel had a bar where Matt could watch the game and I could put my feet up.

On the following days, the temperature would start dropping in Florida (most days hit the low 40's or upper 30's), but we still ventured out in the wind and rain to see:

* The Magic Kingdom
* Kennedy Space Center
* Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island
* Epcot
