Busy Bee

Last week began a month or two or three of busy bee moments! I had Book Club at Krista's (great house!) where we discussed "The Magic of Ordinary Days" then Junior League met at ISU Design West with a meeting after the meeting at BA's. Fun times, but dang it was cold that night! Then on Friday Matt worked on the bathroom some more, so I can begin to paint it this week, and I caught up on my movie watching. :-)
On Saturday we got some more snow, so while Matt went to shovel, I assisted by knocking ice off of our house. Matt also raked our roof...isn't that just funny to think about?
We finally celebrated Christmas with Nick and Sara! We went to Applebee's, which was packed, then Sara and I did some shopping (great deals at Dress Barn and Old Navy), and I got an awesome pie stencil from Nick and Sara. I had to make a homemade apple pie to try it out.

And, of course, I spent quality time with Bows, which included an oh so fun doggy bath. She is not a fan, but she had the doggy odor I am not a fan of. Luckily, it was nice enough to go for a walk this weekend, plus I did laundry, bought fabric with my friend Rebecca who's making me some new curtains, and I snuck in a few workouts.

Now I start another week of night meetings, in bad weather, and dinner plans with the parentals. Matt and I are also church shopping right now. We went to church with Michelle to visit her Methodist Church and met some really great people and heard an inspirational message.

A pie stencil; I've never heard of such a thing. That looks fun, and tasty!
