Weekends go by too quickly

I love weekends, but they go by too quickly. This weekend was the last one before Matthew goes back to school at Wayne. He is taking 16 credit hours, so I told him I will see him this summer. :-) Starting backwards, this is what we did.

Bows and I played in the snow on Sunday night. We have gotten about 3 inches and more is still coming down! There is something about snow that always makes me want to go outside. And, for those who do not live in snowy states, you should know it's usually warmer when it snows. On Friday and Saturday it got down to the single digits, but today it was 20 degrees. Heat wave!

Notice the little puppy prints that lead down the block. Bows was having trouble walking in the "deep" snow. It makes me glad I have long legs. :-)

Bows took a nap while I walked on the elliptical and caught up on last week's episode of "Desperate Housewives." Did you know Susan lost a kidney and her other one is deformed? No way! :-)

Please note the beautiful pleather couch in our computer room. David gave it to us to use and I seriously love it....just not the color. (It's also the only piece of furniture that Bows can jump onto. Everything else is too tall.)

On Saturday Matthew and I drove up to Sioux Falls to celebrate Xander's 3rd birthday and Dennis' 60th birthday. I love Matt's extended family. There is always someone to talk to and kids everywhere. Plus Matt's grandma is the cutest lady.

And, that's the weekend in a nutshell. We also caught dinner at Red Lobster (yum!), hit up the sales at Kohl's, Matt worked on the bathroom (yay!), and of course, there was plenty of football on T.V. This week Matt and I have something every night of the week until Sunday. I am not making any plans for Sunday. Hopefully, I can stay in my pjs all day. :-)
