Tis the Season

Instead of reading books in December, we went to Minerva's for dinner and an ornament exchange. I got the cutest sweater with a dog on it that looks similiar to Bows.  The food was delish and the company was even better!

Bows has been very sleepy now that it's cold...and she's old...er.

One day I found her snuggled up in a blanket with her bunny.

At SSC coffee hour, a wonderful group of women sang Christmas songs.  The pretty lady in the middle is my boss' mom.

And the neatest wreath was on display. It's pages from books. I might try to make this for next year.

I found Bows a new sweater at TJ Maxx.  My mom and I drove up to Sioux Falls on Saturday to do a little shopping and got caught in a bit of a snowstorm coming home. We picked a truck to stay behind and drove between 40-50 mph. Luckily there was only one accident we saw, but I found out Sioux City had 30 accidents in town on Saturday.

The next day Bows and I went outside to shovel and play in the snow.  (Can you tell her beard is growing back?  Some of the whiskers are super long now. So cute!)

We have attempted many family Christmas card pics. I think we need someone to come take our photo.  Check out the outtakes.

Where's Matthew's head?!

This is one of the better ones.

Don't worry Bows was trying to attack Matthew.

Maybe we should just send this photo in our Christmas cards. Cuteness!

I hope everyone is having a great holiday season!  I have tried making cookies and need to find a recipe I don't mess up. Three down, more to try!
